Oak Park, IL – On October 8, the PCC Foundation hosted its Annual Fundraising Gala, “Some Enchanted Evening.” Held at the beautiful Oak Park Country Club, the evening began with a cocktail hour, during which time guests had the opportunity to win numerous treasures in an impressive raffle. The social hour was followed by dinner and live music. The salad course was fully harvested from the nearby PCC Austin Farm. The banquet hall was filled with the soothing sounds of local songstress, Melody DeRosa, also known for entertaining at the II Vicolo Trattoria in Oak Park.

Patrick Garrick, CPA, MBA

Chief Financial Officer, Patrick Garrick, joined PCC in 2013. However, he was instrumental in establishing PCC as a stand-alone nonprofit in 1992 while he worked with West Suburban Medical Center. Mr. Garrick received his Bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago and his Master's in Business Administration in Finance and Health Care from Dominican University. Mr. Garrick is a Certified Public Account and has over 25 years financial accounting and management experience in the health care field.

Robert J. Urso, MS, MHA, BSN

President and CEO, Robert Urso, has served at PCC since 2001. He has extensive executive experience in the FQHC and community health center environment as well as in community and tertiary hospitals. His prior experience includes physician practice management and development, fiscal management, and managed care. In addition, Mr. Urso has served as an ambulatory care surveyor for JCAHO and was credentialed to survey community health centers. Mr. Urso completed the Johnson and Johnson/UCLA Health Care Executive Program in 2004, and in 2007 he completed a fellowship program through the Mid-America Regional Public Health Leadership Institute at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
