Julene Davis, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Julene Davis is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in May of 2022. She then went on to complete a one-year residency at Howard Brown Health. She has 22 years of healthcare experience, 14 of which have been in behavioral health as a nurse. She has experience working in acute care, outpatient, and residential settings for organizations such as Franciscan St. Margaret Health and Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital. She has a passion for nursing and is committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to all. In her free time, Julene enjoys traveling, adventure, and spending time with her family.

Morgan Madison, MD

Dr. Madison earned her medical degree from George Washington University in 2012 and completed residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Prior to medicine, she taught chemistry to high school students for two years in Kenya. Convinced that health care is a human right, Dr. Madison is passionate about the full spectrum of women's health, LGBTQ health, and HIV care. Outside of her medical interests, Dr. Madison enjoys bike riding, traveling, and drinking coffee in various Chicago cafes.

Hoang Tommy Nguyen, MD

Dr. Hoang Tommy Nguyen spent most of his childhood in New Orleans, though attended boarding school in Wisconsin for high school. He then studied biology at the University of Louisiana Monroe before going back to New Orleans for medical school at Louisiana State University. Dr. Nguyen is interested in continuity care, wound care, and sleep medicine. He is completing West Suburban Medical Center's Residency Program. In his free time, he enjoys video games.

Abel Alemayehu, MD

Dr. Abel Alemayehu (pronounced "Ah-bell Ah-la-my-you") grew up in Ethiopia and came to the States to attend George Mason University in Virginia and study biology. For medical school, he attended the American University of Antigua, as well as Florida International University in Miami. He then did clinical rotations at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Dr. Alemayehu joins PCC particularly interested in addiction medicine and pain management. He is completing the West Suburban Medical Family Residency Program. He enjoys exercising and time with friends and family.

Sekufe Akhter, DO

Dr. Akhter completed medical school at the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, KY. She completed the PMC Family Medicine Program, also in Pikeville, KY. Dr. Akhter is currently completing PCC's 2022-2023 PCH Fellowship program. Her interests include running, hiking National Parks, biking, pan-Asian cooking, world travel with her husband, and reading non-fiction.

Natasha Thern, MD

Dr. Natasha Thern completed her medical education at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She is completing residency at PCC, as part of the West Suburban Medical Center – Family Medicine Residency Program (Class of 2024). Dr. Thern up in a small town (Lola) in central Wisconsin. She attended St. Norbert College as an undergraduate and studied biology there. She then attended Dominican University in River Forest for a post-bac pre-med program before continuing on at Rosalind Franklin University. Dr. Thern is currently living in River Forest with her husband and a cat and enjoys cooking in her spare time.

Margaret Spini, MD

Dr. Maggie Spini completed medical school at the University of Maryland. She is completing residency at PCC, as part of the West Suburban Medical Center – Family Medicine Residency Program (Class of 2024). Dr. Spini grew up in a small town (Arcata) in northern California, among the redwoods. She studied English as an undergrad at Duke University and spent some time after graduation in politics in California. Dr. Spini then completed a post-bac pre-med program before attending medical school. She is now living in Wicker Park with her cat and likes to read, bake, run, and bike.

Katie Ives-Louter, MD

Dr. Katie Ives-Louter completed her medical education at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. She is completing residency at PCC, as part of the West Suburban Medical Center – Family Medicine Residency Program (Class of 2023). Her medical areas of interest include full spectrum family medicine, women's health, obstetrics, underserved medicine, addiction medicine, medical education, and healthcare policy. Before residency, Dr. Ives-Louter worked with the Chicago and Illinois Departments of Public Health to evaluate the barriers and treatment outcomes of a state-funded hepatitis C treatment program for low-income Illinois residents co-infected with HIV and HCV. In the past, she was an Education Centered Medical Home Clinic Chief, a National Health Services Corps Scholar, a Chicago Youth Programs Tutor, and a Blood Drive Coordinator. Outside of medicine, Dr. Ives-Louter enjoys running, hiking, kayaking, cooking new recipes, playing with her cats, and house plants.

Beata Janton, MSN, RN, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC

Beata Janton is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Master's of Science in Nursing from Walden University 2014, and completed the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program at the University of St. Francis in 2020. Beata completed her clinical rotation at Ecker Center for Mental Health in Elgin, IL. She is fluent in Polish. Beata emigrated from Poland where she worked as a nurse midwife. In her free time, she likes to learn new things, dance, and read.
