Dr. Daniel Hawthorne completed his undergraduate education at Wheaton College and his medical education at the University of Illinois - College of Medicine in 2014. He completed his residency at PCC, as part of the West Suburban Medical Center and now serves as Medical Director of Medical Education. Dr. Hawthorne is passionate about the cultural concepts of health and wellness and the relationship between diet and a person's perception of chronic disease. He is committed to bridging the cultural gap between doctors and their patients to communicate more effectively and provide better patient care. Dr. Hawthorne grew up in Bolivia, so he is fluent in Spanish and loves watching and playing soccer. He also enjoys playing and listening to music, running with his dog, and going on adventures, including exploring Chicago’s amazing restaurants.
