Veronica Galvalisi is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). As a recipient of a fellowship funded by the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), she fulfilled all of her training at PCC and graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2015. Veronica then completed a selective post-graduate residency at CHC Inc., as a member of the nation’s first Nurse Practitioner Residency program. She then worked as an FNP at PCC, Mile Square Health Center, and Esperanza Health Centers in Chicago.

Veronica completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago. Afterwards, she joined Teach for America and served as a successful Chicago high school science teacher, working with high-risk adolescents for four years. She decided to become an FNP to combine her passion for teaching with her drive to improve the healthcare of medical underserved patients like her students and abuelita (grandmother). She will get her doctorate in Population Health at Rush in fall 2022. Veronica is a bilingual (Spanish) and bicultural provider. She enjoys spending time with her husband and friends.
