A native of the Bronx in New York, Damaris Velazquez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who attained her Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago in 2001.

A native of the Bronx in New York, Damaris Velazquez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who attained her Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago in 2001. As a bilingual behavioral health consultant, Damaris compassionately cares for both English and Spanish speaking patients. Prior to joining PCC, she worked for 12 years with prenatal to six year olds and their families. She also supported people with memory loss during six years of service with the Alzheimer Association’s 24/7 Helpline. In addition, Damaris is well-equipped to treat patients affected by trauma as a result of training in Level I Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her son.
