Peter M. Chapman, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained his Master of Social Work from the University of Chicago – School of Social Service Administration in 1986. Peter completed his social work field instruction at Children’s Memorial Hospital and Lutheran Social Services of Illinois. As a member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, he developed the Mental Illness and Substance Abuse curriculum for Crisis Intervention Training for the Chicago Police Department. Peter has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois in Chicago – College of Social Work. In addition to social work, Peter’s interests include community activism, bike riding, music, knitting, and designing knitted garments. He has been married for over 35 years. He and his wife have one son.
