Dr. Bertha Lopez earned her medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in 1992. While at Loyola, she participated in a medical rotation at the Small Town Health Care Center in Arandas, Mexico. Dr. Lopez completed residency at the University of Chicago’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1996. She is currently a member of the American Medical Association. Outside of medicine, Dr. Lopez enjoys travelling and running in the Chicago Marathon. Born in Mexico City, she is fluent in both Spanish and English.
