Dr. Katarina Crause completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2021. She completed the General Dental Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in 2022. Dr. Crause also has a Bachelor's Degree in Evolutionary Anthropology from the University of Michigan. She is a recipient of the Michigan Periodontal Alumni Association Award. Outside of work, Dr. Crause enjoys ballroom dancing, walking along Lake Michigan, and trying new restaurants in Chicago.
Dr. Joell Chen received her dental degree from the Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dentistry in 2021. She completed general practice residency at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. Dr. Chen has served on the American Dental Association's Council on Advocacy for Access and Prevention. She is fluent in Mandarin. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Chen enjoys hiking trips, yoga, and exploring restaurants in Chicago.
Dr. Colleen McShane received her dental degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2014. She completed the Evanston Hospital General Practice Residency Program. She also has an undergraduate degree from Illinois Wesleyan University in Psychology and Spanish. Outside of work, Dr. McShane enjoys reading, traveling, exercising, and playing tennis. She can speak conversational Spanish.
Alma Gallegos is a dentist at PCC's South and Austin Dental Clinics. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago's (UIC) College of Dentistry in 2020. Alma also received her undergraduate degree in Human Communication Sciences and Spanish from Northwestern University. Alma enjoys volunteering at dental clinics and events, and providing care for underserved patient populations. In her free time, she likes to travel and spend time with her family and two dogs.Alma is fluent in Spanish.

This year’s campaign slogan is “Brush your teeth with fluoride toothpaste and clean between your teeth for a healthy smile.” This month is the perfect time to schedule oral exams for children to ensure healthy smiles.
PCC provides convenient access to oral health services in a state-of-the-art facility located in one of our largest sites, PCC South Family Health Center. Our dental providers offer preventive screenings, sealants, topical fluoride, oral prophylaxis, nutritional counseling, and health education.
Dr. Manal Yasin earned her dental degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago – College of Dentistry in 2013. She completed residency at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio.
Dr. Ryan Tuscher, D.D.S. serves as PCC’s Dental Director. She joined PCC in 2011. As director, Dr. Tuscher provides clinical leadership to ensure quality patient care, develops dental goals, and oversees the recruitment and retention of the staff. In 2009, Dr. Tuscher graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago – College of Dentistry, where she serves as an adjunct faculty member. She completed residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where she remains a member of the medical staff. She is highly experienced in performing preventative, restorative, and emergent dental care for adults and children. Her remarkable enthusiasm for her patients and the Dental Department contributes to the success of PCC’s Oral Health Program.
Justyna Klatka joined PCC in 2015 as Dental Clinic Administrator. Justyna has over ten years’ experience in oral health care with demonstrated progression in roles and responsibilities.
